Romin’ Roman’s first day of live, in-person, class... Classical Mythology. He was quite vocal about the constant use of the greek names of the gods, instead of the more dignified roman names, but once we got to Dionysus/Bacchus (god of wine) he relaxed a bit! Okay, now this is more like it... A (not so boring) teacher at the front of the room, pen and paper, discussions. It felt like I was back in high-school... in fact, half the class were high-school seniors! Geez... Guess I'm picking up where I left off all those years ago when I dropped out of HS. Karma. |

Yep, I thought I would start off easy with only 15 hrs of courses to include Composition II, Ancient Greece History, Classic Mythology, Pre World History and Intro to Biological Anthropology. You know... all light reading! What was I thinking! To top that off, the last time I went to school, we read actual books and wrote with pens and pencils on a little thing I like to call "paper". Now I get to try and find and sort my way through the layers of this online format, with flaky internet, where just as you start something it kicks you out and you have to log back in... you know, the perfect thing for a grouchy, impatient, disgruntled veteran with PTSD and Bipolar to deal with! LOL... oh well, hold my beer... here goes.
