The travel is over, I have arrived in Talkeetna where I will spend the next 2 days packing and preparing before the flight out to the glacier on friday.

ClimberMichael is an OEF veteran, 19 years as a Navy Corpsman, SfS co-founder. He also is Bipolar and struggles with suicidal tendencies. Last year he launched his bid to climb the highest mountains on each continent. The purpose is to show how a "dis"abled veteran can become a "re"abled veteran through outdoor adventure, draw awareness to the issues and resources around PTSD and the over 8000 veteran suicides, and to carry the "Silently Fallen" flag of our brothers and sisters who have fallen to their silent wounds.
